PJ's Westfield

This blog is dedicated to the money sucking project that is 'My Westfield!'
I bought the car back in 2006, and at the time it was a fairly standard car, with a non modified engine and all the creature comforts of a road car (carpet, windscreen etc). I've since been constantly upgrading, and the lure of track days has meant it's transforming into a much more track focused machine.

I've started this blog late, so I'll try to think back to the order of modifications.

One of the first events I did was a very wet track day at Castle Combe, this highlighted a few things. First off was the total lack of driver tallent :-) and the second was the rock hard tyres (probably been on the car since day 1) were no good!. However, as the day progressed, and after some useful driver instruction, my confidence was building....

At the end of the day it was clear that at this stage in the game, the handling of the car was far more important than the outright power. So, my first 'mod' was a new set of wheels with some decent Toyo T1R tyres.

From then on in I did a few more track days, and slowly but surley have been getting the car around quicker so a rather large jump forward to today and the car is now stripped of all excess weight (now down to 560kgs) and has just over 200bhp.

I've just fitted some R888 tyres, so to be on the safe side decided to fit an anti oil surge device in the shape of an Accusump:
